Nomination and Election Process for the WorldatWork Board of Directors
Nomination and Election Process for the WorldatWork Board of Directors
Each year, the Board’s Governance Committee is responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential candidates’ suitability for the open positions on the Board of Directors. To that end, a 2-3 year candidate pipeline has been established. Candidates generally are sourced from the ranks of WorldatWork advisory boards, conference presenters, authors and other engaged contributors and professional leaders.
Following the review of candidates, the Governance Committee makes final candidate recommendations to the Executive Committee and, ultimately, the full Board of Directors for their approval.
Following approval by the Board of Directors, the full slate of proposed directors, including those currently serving on the Board, is presented to WorldatWork members for their approval.
Note: The Board of Directors consists of at least eight (8) but no more than sixteen (16) directors including the past chair.
