Marcia G. Rhodes, Accredited in Public Relations (APR)
Marcia G. Rhodes currently serves as Public Relations Manager and spokesperson for WorldatWork. She has 20 years experience in PR, media relations, marketing and communications.
Rhodes is responsible for increasing WorldatWork visibility through media relations and the WorldatWork Speakers Bureau. She also heads the WorldatWork scholarship program committee.
Rhodes’ experience includes 11 years with Accenture – five years as Marketing Manager for Andersen Consulting in Seattle, followed by six years as Senior Marketing Communications Manager for Accenture’s Government and Education practice. She worked for three years as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Six Sigma Academy, a global operational excellence training and consulting firm. She has worked for various public relations agencies in Seattle and Scottsdale, including her own (MGL Communications).
Rhodes has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Chicago Sun-Times, San Jose Mercury News, Columbus Dispatch, The Houston Chronicle, The Arizona Republic, Phoenix Business Journal, and several HR trade publications. She is a monthly columnist on workforce trends and issues for AzNow.biz. Rhodes sits on evaluation committees for 'Most Admired Companies of Arizona' and 'Top Workplaces for Women in the Valley.'
